Before you buy software…

Consider this: most of us don’t really have a structured plan when it comes to buying software for our business. And by us, I mean small to mid-sized business owners.

We recognize a need and start down a path to create a short-list of solutions. Then, when we’ve ‘done our research’, we reach out to the vendors to get a demo. And at that point, we enter into their sales funnels and processes.

Here’s the thing. Sales teams are continually trained on how to sell using a variety of methodologies. This isn’t bad. In fact, training is always good.

But this training is designed to help sellers sell, not help buyers, like you, buy.

Let’s Turn The Tables

What I’ve learned over the last 25 years of helping tech vendors sell software is that most buyers don’t use an intentional framework during the buying process. So even though you have the final say with your wallet, the process you use to get there is being controlled by the seller, not you.

Let’s change that. The Buying Better Workshop is designed to give small to mid-sized businesses the framework and training to take control of the tech buying process. In essence, to help you feel confident about the eventual decision you make.

If you’re considering a software purchase in 2026 and think a want help building a buyer’s playbook, sign-up. I’ll send you information as we get closer to launch, like:

  • how much it costs (it won’t be crazy, promise)
  • what the content looks like
  • what outcomes you can expect from the half-day workshop

The workshop is being finalized now and will be ready to launch in early 2026.

And yes, being an early-bird means you’ll get a cheaper rate.

(I have to give you something in return for helping work out the kinks, right?)
